Find Your Balance

Stress though always labelled as “not good” can also be good J
Endocrinologist Hans Selye, termed it as Eustress , who used the the Greek prefix “eu” which means “good”.

The perception to any event/situation always will either leave us stressed, hassled or  motivated & inspired.

If suddenly getting an amazing new job opportunity, could either fill you with unnecessary worry & anxiety or you could look at it as a first positive step to reach new heights.

Eustress can be experienced, when one feels eager, excited, thrilled, proud, resilient, determined, fulfilled or in a state of flow.
It provides us with an energy boost to perform challenging activities – especially where we need to focus and put in extra effort eg. playing competitive sport or public speaking/delivering a seminar, learning & growing.

Now in all these situations the outlook or how one approaches it, decides the outcome.

Eventually it’s all about finding that rhythm that helps you keep your balance. It takes time to find it, and it is very individualistic, but when you do discover it, you’ll find yourself more in control of your stress and living a healthy, happy life.

Let go of Mind Chatter

Yes... it is actually this simple. If there is an obsessive thought or too much happening up there, just put it on paper. Draw, Scribble or write and suddenly you will feel relieved and easy.
And if you are really present to what is coming out on the paper, then you will be gifted with clarity & some amazing insights.

Group Session on Being Mindful n Easy

A quick mind session with 40 enthusiasts on Being easy and yet being completely present to the task at hand. No matter what you are doing, developing the art of being fully there through simple playful techniques. Some games which we already enjoyed in our childhood help us reconnect back to
ourselves and become lighter and more focused.
Thanks to the amazing HR head we shifted from the amphitheatre to the lawns. The outdoor setting made it more easier for the employees to adapt and enjoy. All in all a wonderful experience in an equally beautiful setting.

DayDream with an intention!!

Play the entire "ideal" game in your mind's eye and picture yourself giving the perfect speech, practising your golf swing, starting a new venture  or anything that you wish for...... Be Vivid and Colourful in your imagination.

Simple Steps:

1. Decide what you want

At first, choose goals that are fairly easy for you to believe in, that you feel are possible to realize in the fairly near future.

2. Build a nice elaborate picture

Sit quietly and picture it in your mind with as many details as you can. Think of all the little things that you would like to have in this beautiful dream and see them the way you want it.

3. Focus on your dream often.

Do think about it but do not get worked up. Do it in a relaxed manner.

Devote a few minutes daily & bring about amazing stuff in your life.

Tuesday, 19 July 2016

When you are walking towards your dream, loads of stuff will happen….some really beautiful n some extremely trying. Sometimes if it gets a little daunting do not be afraid. This is the time to ensure that the connection remains alive. Just take some kind of action to Stay Connected.
Each choice we make, every small action may challenge our own beliefs. It will take time to adapt to the new pattern & the new behaviour needed to make it happen. But little steps and consistent action will help you cultivate it inside you. These small progressions will subtly energise your dream and slowly you'll feel more confident about doing it. The moment your confidence soars you will start noticing that suddenly assistance and guidance flows from unexpected sources.
Create an intentional process to seek and celebrate your own incremental progress & then before you realise you will have travelled quite far :-)

Little Gestures

Keep doing a little more for your loved ones. Simple genuine actions add sparkle & deepen the bond.
Put on their favourite song or watch a tv show of their choice. When they are talking passionately, leave everything aside for sometime and just listen. Once in a while drive them to work or someplace, when they least expect it. It doesn't really have to be anything big, but something which says "I care" … "You are special"
Not only does it make them feel valued, but it also feels good for you to see their joy.

Everybody enjoys being treated specially so do not wait for any occasion or the right time, go do it now!!
